Local insight:
Pilchuck Park is a favorite for active families, but the playground here is better suited for bigger kids—think ages 5 and up—so it might not be ideal for toddlers. One of its best features is direct access to the river, making it a fun spot to wade in or launch a small watercraft in summer. It’s also a popular place for sports, with fields and courts that stay busy most weekends.
